There are a range of Services in Kirklees that can support with general health and wellbeing:
NECA is a free gambling harms support service operating across Yorkshire and the Humber.
We support:
• People experiencing gambling-related harm
• Family members, partners and friends affected by somebody else’s gambling
We offer:
• Free 1-to-1 support (typically 6–12 sessions)
• Telephone, Teams and face-to-face appointments
• Online support groups
Referrals can be made by the individual themselves or by another person on their behalf via:

We also provide free Gambling Harms Awareness Training and a Gambling Harms Champions Programme for organisations looking to improve awareness and support people experience gambling issues. Our training is delivered on Microsoft Teams, both courses last around two hours. If you or any of your team are interested, please contact us.
The service is for adults, 18+ although we do deliver educational workshops to younger people in schools and colleges as part of our Empowering Youth programme.
New Service in Kirklees: Here for You
If you, or somebody you know, are struggling and not sure where to go for help Here For You have local teams available every night of the year from 6pm until midnight across Leeds, Kirklees, and Wakefield.
We offer 45minute 1-to-1 support, which can be face to face, or over the phone if you struggle to leave your home. We also offer a safe space where you can be around other people and have access to free food, refreshments, and signposting to other support locally if you need it.
